Gazetteer Update - March 2012
Introduction
The Gazetteer update contains new versions of the postcode information files used by City Link Software. The update should be run on all machines that contain any of the following software:
CL-CONNECT CLAN2000 LabelG (< v80.0) LabelGUI Scan-iT
The update is a simple process that should take no more than a couple of minutes.
Downloading the files
If you would like to update the Gazetteer files manually for LabelG (versions lower than 80.0), you can use the zip file below, which contains only the .dat files to be replaced. Please note that this form of update cannot be used with applications other than LabelG v2.x.
LabelG v80.0+
The latest versions (v80.0 and higher) of LabelG download and install gazetteer updates automatically by running the command java -jar labelg.jar -UPDATE. However, if you wish to update the database manually you can use the file below and replace the existing gazetteer.db3 file on your LabelG directory.
Label Creation / TARIMP
If you run your own label-generating application, you will need to update one of the files below; You will only need to download one of these files.
Label Creation uses a SQLite database file. This file needs to replace your existing db3 file.
The TARIMP file is an archive which contains the routing file updates in CSV format. TARIMP is for ex-Target Express customers on an old service plan only.
